Shie’ox is the creative alias of Chris Wood from Perth, Western Australia. Chris is no stranger to electronic music, having a passion for music production for over 20 years now. After dabbling in many genres of electronic music, he eventually discovered psytrance and was hooked. Soon after, he started to make his own.

Shie’ox was forged in the heart of the Western Australian underground psytrance scene, an entity born of awakenened consciousness through sonic exploration. With an energetic mix of rhythmic night elements, rolling basslines, mixed with synth soundscapes and arrangements, Shie’ox has honed his distinctive sound and became a staple in the Australian outdoor and club psytrance scene for over the past 10 years.

He has already released on many labels worldwide such as NABI, Loose Cognition, Green Wizards, Insectik and his recent remix of Synthetik Chaos – “Peter les Boolons” was featured on the “Breaking News” compilation from Bom Shanka Music.
